Whether you are speaking to your team or presenting to the board, effective communication is key if you want to succeed. Becoming proficient in my public speaking was the greatest personal and business investment I ever made – my goal is to make that the same for other Directors and senior leaders.

If there is one thing I could bottle and give to people it would be self-confidence, and public speaking has given me that. I don’t feel phased by meeting or speaking in front of anyone – whoever they are – and in front of any size or type of audience.
This hasn’t always been the case. I used to have the dry mouth and racing heart and feel terrified of failure. I can share the public speaking techniques that have helped me overcome my fear. You will learn how to pitch your content at the right level, how to prepare to ensure that everything goes to plan and how to present effectively and confidently.

You are unique and while you need to learn good practice, you don’t want to sound just like everyone else. I will help you develop and polish your own speaking style, and one that makes you feel most comfortable. You will discover how to balance being authentic with effectively representing your company.

With The Speaking Director, you will learn in a supportive environment with other Directors and leaders. My Public Speaking Courses are not a quick fix, rather you will develop your skills over time giving you the opportunity to discover and hone your public speaking style. This will make you feel more comfortable in any speaking situation. The course content can be tailored to suit you and your company.
Your contact with The Speaking Director doesn’t need to finish when the course ends. I offer top-up sessions which give you the chance to grow further as a Public Speaker. Individual Directors can also join the Directors’ Speaking Club where you will get many opportunities to deliver presentations and gain invaluable feedback from each other in a relaxed social setting.
